Telekomunikacja Polska, Poland’s largest telco, recently released its 1Q consolidated financial results, which include a net profit rise of 32 percent year-on-year, due primarily to rising mobile and broadband revenue and lower financial costs.
The official distributor of Nar Mobile, West Telecom, has opened VIP sales centre which will provide high class service for its subscribers.

Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), is in talks to buy Tajikistan’s Babilon Mobile, according to Vedomosti business daily.

MTS is reported to be considering a bid for the country’s largest phone retailer, Euroset. According to Vedomosti the two companies have been in talks for the past few weeks.
The telecoms regulator Bulgaria, CRC, has announced plans to auction off a block from the GSM1800 spectrum, specifically it will be offering two 5MHz blocks in the 1800MHz spectrum. Applications must be filed within twenty-one days.
