Beltelecom, the nation fixed-line telco in Belarus, plans to invest USD 150 million to develop its communications networks and services in 2008, according to news portal e-belarus.org.
The state-backed telco will spend part of the sum on expanding and upgrading its fixed-line network with the addition of 300,000 new lines. It also intends to install new Wi-Fi hotspots and roll out IPTV services to residential users.
