The Serbian city of Zrenjanin has introduced free wireless Internet access along its main street, as the result of a partnership between the city authorities, business association BID and ISP BeoTelNet.
According to BeoTelNet director, Gordana Mileusnic, the system is made up of several base stations enabling a high quality Internet service with speeds of 512 Kbps. Users only need to connect their mobile devices to the Open Zone Zrenjanin network and launch their navigator which will automatically open to the Hot Spot page.
