Cosmote Romania mobile communitarians operator will reduce by up to 50 percent the prices for GPRS data services when roaming on 15 of its 30 European partner networks, with new prices coming into effect into force on 1 August.
The prices for data services will be cut down to 4 euros per Mb of data packages for Cosmote users in the partner networks of Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain. The company also announced it intends to cut prices for its GPRS data services provided elsewhere in the world.
Comsote’s GPRS coverage has increased four times over the past 12 months, and the company reported an increase of 50 percent in GPRS roaming data services year-on-year. Cosmote provides GPRS data services to users in 30 countries, through 48 partner networks.
