Limun.hr is reporting that state-owned telco BH Telecom has debts of approximately BAM 50 million (USD 32.4 million) according to the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH).
The revelation was made after a document listing the debts was confirmed as legitimate and the debts are believed to consist of taxes on subsidies of BH Telecom to BH Posta. Subsidies to the latter were agreed as part of the split of the two companies in 2002 in a bid to limit losses at the postal company.
