The incumbent Slovenian telco Telekom Slovenije’s operating income rose by 10 percent to EUR 643.6 million in the first nine months of this year.
It also increased EBITDA by 7 percent to EUR 245.1 million and net profit amounted to EUR 71.8 million. According to the telco, it had around 280,000 broadband connections in Slovenia at the end of September. However, it does not provide a figure for the take up of SiOL TV, which is the longest established IPTV service in CEE.
Outside Slovenia, Telekom Slovenije had over 105,000 broadband customers, both wholesale and retail, in South Eastern Europe.
