Comstar, the largest integrated telecommunications provider in Moscow and 66 Russian cities, announced that the Russian Federation’s Federal Tariff Service has introduced new tariffs for the local connection services and line rental provided by Comstar’s 55.73 percent owned subsidiary, Moscow City Telephone Network (MGTS). MGTS tariffs will increase at an average rate of 8 percent, subject to registration by the Ministry of Justice. The date from which the new tariff increase will be applied has yet to be approved by the regulator.
