The Czech incumbent telco Telefónica O2 has added a new offer to its IPTV platform O2 TV. Known as Multi, it allows viewers to watch different O2 TV channels on two TV sets in the same household at the same time for an additional payment of CZK 50 (EUR 2) a month.
Viewers are also required to either rent or buy a second set-top box for CZK 149.90 a month or CZK 3,499 respectively. O2 TV is currently one of the most successful IPTV operations in Central and Eastern Europe, with just over 90,000 subscribers.
