Synterra are adding five new backbone network links to the company’s 60,000km Russian long-distance network to improve network connectivity in the Central, North West and Volga Federal Districts.
The backbone network upgrades provide connectivity for nine regions, linking Moscow to Kaluga, Orel to Bryansk, Tambov to Michurinsk, Vologda to Yaroslavl and Vladimir to Nizhny Novgorod. Their total length is around 900km, and maximum bandwidth capacity is 10Gbps.
