Bulgarian mobile operator Globul has introduced a new Call International service for post-paid subscribers. Starting 5 September, users who take up the operator’s offer will be able to call abroad for BGN 0.10 per minute or, for a monthly fee of BGN 5, customers may opt for an additional package of 50 minutes per month for calls to mobile and fixed networks in the USA, Canada and Russia and to fixed networks across Europe.
Globul’s Call International service is available to Smart, Smart Group, TimeStop, TaxOut, National 50, National 100 and Мax post-paid subscribers.
Globul is Bulgaria’s second largest operator and a wholly owned subsidiary of Greek telecommunications company Cosmote. It had 4.1 million subscribers in the region by March 2008 around 40 percent of which are post-paid subscribers.
